My journey as a self-taught floral designer started at home, growing specialty cut flowers. As friends and family began requesting arrangements for their weddings, I quickly fell in love with this vibrant world. Each arrangement I create is a custom piece, inspired by nature’s effortless beauty. I strive to ensure that my designs feel natural and airy, steering clear of stiff or standardized arrangements. As a dedicated STL wedding florist, I’m committed to creating unique floral designs that reflect the individuality of each couple’s love story.

where we get inspiration

Nature is my primary source of inspiration. I draw from its colors, shapes, and textures to create floral designs that feel organic and alive. For instance, I recently designed a moody autumn arrangement using darker hues like burgundy and dark purple, balanced by a soft pale orange from cosmos. This unexpected pairing highlights the beauty of contrast and balance, embodying the essence of my design philosophy.

I love using seasonal, locally-grown flowers whenever possible. Spring brings tulips and peonies, while fall offers dahlias and heirloom mums. My favorite season to work with changes based on what’s in bloom—right now, it’s all about the stunning fall flowers, but I might say something different in the spring!

This helps us customize placements and sizes, ensuring the flowers complement the space beautifully. Whether it’s an art museum like SLAM or CAM or an outdoor garden like MoBot, the flowers play a key role in enhancing the venue’s character.
