Here we’re answering some of the most frequently asked questions about planning florals for a wedding or event.

When should I book my florist?

It’s best to start planning your wedding flowers approximately 4–12 months before your wedding date. Florists often fill their schedules quickly, especially for peak seasons. Booking early ensures availability and allows ample time for design and coordination.As long as you have your wedding date and venue booked, you can book a florist!

How much do wedding florals cost?

Costs vary based on factors like flower types, arrangement sizes, and the number of guests. On average, couples spend about 10% of their total wedding budget on flowers. If you want that Pinterest-worthy wedding, the floral budget may need to be closer to 20-30% of your total budget. Discussing your budget upfront allows your florist to suggest options that align with your financial plan.

Can you work with my wedding theme and color scheme?

Absolutely! We collaborate with you and additional vendors as needed to ensure the floral designs complement your wedding’s theme and color palette, creating a cohesive and personalized look.

What floral arrangements should I consider for my wedding?

Common floral elements include: Bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, ceremony decor (e.g. altar arrangements, aisle markers, arches), reception centerpieces, and floral accents for the cake or welcome table.

How can I stay within my floral budget?

Opting for in-season flowers, repurposing ceremony arrangements for the reception, and choosing simpler designs can help manage costs. We can help make suggestions for cost-effective options without compromising on beauty.

Do you provide setup and breakdown services?

Yes, we provide delivery, setup and breakdown for all of our full-service events. Our minimum budget for full-service events is $3,000.

What happens to the flowers after the wedding?

We proudly partner with a local nonprofit, Joy Petalers, to donate and repurpose the flowers from your event to then bring joy to community members residing in long-term care communities, hospitals, and shelters. If you have another preference, we are happy to discuss!
