Meet Dawn

Portrait of St. Louis Florist, Dawn Gross, of Suncrest Blooms.

Hi ! I’m Dawn, the florist behind Suncrest Blooms.

My journey into floral design began in my backyard during the quiet days of Covid. What started as a love of gardening bloomed into Suncrest Blooms, where I bring that same joy and appreciation for nature into every wedding and event.

Prior to becoming a florist, I was a social worker helping individuals and families navigate a variety of life changes. I view my shift to floristry as just a shift in my clientele, and my experience in that field directly shapes how I run my floristry business and how I serve my clients today.

I truly enjoy helping couples refine their vision, talk through the options and possibilities, and finally, to bring that experience to life.

When I’m not flowering, you can find me playing board games with my husband and three kids, trying a new place to eat, or planning our next trip.

If you’re looking for a St. Louis wedding florist who values artistry, connection, and sustainability, I’d love to chat.

“Dawn did an incredible job with our daughter’s wedding! The flowers and arrangements and tables were beautiful!”

— Marleen, Mother of the Bride
